Transferring data

For most use cases, data to be analyzed needs to be transferred to Gaia, and results need to be transferred to other locations. We support different methods for data transfer, some more advanced than others. Below is a list of supported tools with a short description for each.

MobaXterm

A application providing an SSH client with a built-in SFTP browser, allowing you to transfer files by dragging and dropping while connected to Gaia.

FileZilla

A graphical SFTP client, providing a user-friendly interface for uploading and downloading files between your computer and Gaia.

Rsync

A command-line tool for efficient file transfer and synchronization between systems, supporting resumable transfers and incremental updates, suitable for advanced users working with Gaia.

Nextcloud

A web-based platform used to securely share data with customers.
