Billing
Billing of requested resources
When applying for an account, all users must also pass on a billing number, a so called 'kostenplaats nummer'. The amount of cores you use for a certain time is being billed. This is called a core/hour (CH).
Prices for 2025
The price for CPU 1 CH is €0,0093. The price for the smallest GPU 1 CH is €0,3739.
Resource | Price CH in € |
---|---|
CPU | 0,0093 |
GPU 12gb | 0,37 |
GPU 24gb | 0,75 |
GPU 47gb | 1,50 |
GPU H100 | 2,62 |
Cores linked to memory
For the calculation nodes, the number of cores is linked with memory in a 1 to 4 rate, meaning:
- When you apply for 1 core 1 hour, you automatically get 4GB memory assigned and are being billed for 1 core hour
- When you apply for 8 cores 1 hour, you automatically get 32GB memory assigned and are being billed for 8 core hours
- When you apply for 16 cores 2 hours, you automatically get 64GB memory assigned and are being billed for 32 core hours
For the bigmem partition there is a different core to memory ratio, it is 1 to 8, meaning:
- When you apply for 1 core 1 hour, you automatically get 8GB memory assigned and are being billed for 1 core hour
- When you apply for 8 cores 1 hour, you automatically get 64GB memory assigned and are being billed for 8 core hours
- When you apply for 64 cores 2 hours, you automatically get 512GB memory assigned and are being billed for 128 core hours
Partition | Cores in CH | Memory in GB |
---|---|---|
standard | 1 | 4 |
standard | 8 | 32 |
standard | 64 | 256 |
bigmem | 1 | 8 |
bigmem | 8 | 64 |
bigmem | 64 | 512 |
Billing frequency
Billing will be monthly done by the ICT department based on the slurm statistics.
